The catch is that the empty space doesn't show on the library, it's only when you go to rename the collection you notice it's there.
I use this to have my " Early Access" and " Installed" collections show on top of the rest.
For instance, I just created one named "checking sorting" and it slotted into the Cs as expected. But, if I add a space at the start " checking sorting", the collection gets sorted to the top of the list before the As.
I keep a number of categories out of alphabetical order on purpose by using emoji characters before the name to keep them at the top of my category list.
