Collections not sorting aphabetically
I created a new collection tonight, but my collections have not and continue to not sort alphabetically. The games do, but not the collections. Favorites is on top, but after that, there are two... 'series' of alphabets. The first group goes go A to Z, and then the second group goes A to Z. Today's collection was sorted alphabetical in the second series. Is there a way I can make all of my collections participate in one alphabetical list?

The first letter in the collections's names go ABFRSW, then CEOPS. Tonight's collection... "Early Access Games", was the E in second series. It does this in both my Mac profile and my Windows profile.

If you put an empty space at the beginning of a collection name it goes to the top of the list, then it sorts them based on the "second" letter, So you could have, for example:

" B"
" E"
"A"
"B"
"C"

The catch is that the empty space doesn't show on the library, it's only when you go to rename the collection you notice it's there.

I use this to have my " Early Access" and " Installed" collections show on top of the rest.

Is it possible you have a space or non-letter character at the start of some of the category names?

For instance, I just created one named "checking sorting" and it slotted into the Cs as expected. But, if I add a space at the start " checking sorting", the collection gets sorted to the top of the list before the As.

I keep a number of categories out of alphabetical order on purpose by using emoji characters before the name to keep them at the top of my category list.

O...M...G... Thank you both. I had a blank space in front of the first group titles. I took the blank out and everything is now sorting fine. I must have used that trick for sorting years ago... but forgot.
