Settings > Family >> Manage your Steam Family
This takes you to:
https://store.steampowered.com/account/familymanagement/
Here you can enable/disable parental controls on the Child accounts and from there enable/disable all the different community options.
Having to go into my account makes it extremely tedious.
If we are co-op playing a game (on the childs account) and want to download a level;
Before:
1.Shift-tab to steam
2.Click family-icon and enter pin
3.Click community-content, and enter pin again (I thought THIS was tedious)
4.Subscribe to a level
5.Shift-tab back to the game
6.Play the new level
No need to re-active child-mode since it did that automatically next start.
Suggested now, as far as I understand:
1.Exit game
2.Logout from childs account and login on my adult account
3.Open mail on my phone, enter pwd and fetch mails
4.Read the 2FA-code and enter on pc to log in
5.Go to the family-page in settings
6.Enable community-content for child
7.Logout from my account and back into the child
8.Again fetch mails on the phone for her account
9.Enter the 2FA code (that annoyingly can not be turned off)
10.Go to the game page, and community content
11.Subscribe to a level
Since I granted access permanently, I will need to revoke that, which I better do directly or I will forget it. So repeat steps 2-9 once more (but disable access)
20.Start the game
21.Don't play the new level because the child lost interest ten minutes ago and is watching TV in the other room.
I guess it can be shortened a bit if I login to my account via a browser instead of the steam client, but still.
