Partial refund for Mass Effect Legendary Edition

I bought Mass Effect Legendary Edition less than a week ago for ~$60. It is now $5. How can i go about requesting a partial refund?

Steam does not do partial refunds. If you still fall under the normal refund rules ( 14 days since purchase/ less then 2 hours of playtime) you can ask for a refund and then rebuy the cheaper version.
If you already played X amount of hours and are over the time limit you are most likely out of luck.
You can try a manual ticket as a last resort. Select the game in question on the Support page under "Purchases" and then " I have a question about this purchase".
Explain the situation and ask for a refund exception. Maybe you are lucky.
But no matter what, take the answer you get as the final one.

Never pay full price for a game that is old, has an established discount history and is likely to be discounted again at this time of the year.

Unless you meet refund policy criteria you can't. If you did you could refund it and then buy it again.

If it still has the stupid negative acceleration I wouldn't buy it for $0.01 and certainly not at full price
