How can I see a friend's wishlist if his games section is hidden?

I want to gift something to my friend in return, but apparently I can’t go to the wishlist section because the games section is hidden, I guess?

If their games+wishlist is hidden then you wont be able to see it but alternatively you can gift them digital wallet funds instead.

It just seems to me that they will be shy to answer, so I wanted to find out if I could find out for myself. But it seems that it's impossible while their gameslist is hidden, so ig I have to ask them directly.
