Anyone knows what's up with certain games that are no longer available on the store?

Let me explain:

I have an old game called Fist of Jesus (an old beat 'em up indie game) that was removed from the store a long time ago...

As it happens, I had finished it with all achievements, so it used to be counted as a "perfect game".

Right, so in recent times, my "perfect games" counter went down a few games... I read the whole business with the Half Life 2 thing (which is a mess in itself) but I was missing another one, so upon investigation, it's that Fist of Jesus game that has just disappeared from the list of games.

I still have in my library mind you, but it is not listed anywhere when you check your games in profile>games.

A few weeks ago it still appeared, now it just doesn't. What's up with that? =/

Oh and by the way, other games that are no longer on the store still show up, so it's not because they've been removed from the store, it's specifically that one in my case... but it might also be the case for other games I don't own.

Fist of Jesus, the devs went bankrupt years ago and the game was pulled from sale and no longer counts towards the Perfect Games.

that's not the issue... I know it was pulled from the store... problem is it just disappeared. Again: Other games that have been pulled from the store are still there... Like Afterfall Insanity, for example (that one still counts as a perfect game too, btw).

the issue is more the fact that it just disappeared from the game list, forget about it being perfect or not.

Are you sure you haven't hidden it?

No it's not hidden, it's just a weird ass thing... wouldn't matter either, you can see hidden games in the list when you click on "games" in your profile anyways... Hiding them just hides them from your library.

In my profile I have 199 perfect games and 479 in total, but the when I click on "games", it shows 200 perfect and 485 in total... like... it doesn't even make sense. Why are those numbers even different?

However it doesn't show in the other tabs AT ALL... it doesn't show in the "recent activity" panel in my profile either, despite the fact I just played it recently...

And also: you can notice the difference in the number of games displayed between the profile and the games tab.

When I look at your profile and then your list of games, the perfect games on both are 199.

You sure you didn't private one?

When I look at your profile and then your list of games, the perfect games on both are 199.

I just edited the previous post with screenshots so you can see what I see...

Yeah okay but why am I seeing different number in my own profile then?? That is the question...

Also, can you see the Fist of Jesus game anywhere in there? because I see 4 recently played games, which is what should actually be... in your screenshot you only see 3...

oh and no, it's not private, it's not hidden, it's not anything, it's just sitting there in my library like any other game.

One of the perfect games is Profile Features Limited and that is why you see it as 200 and we see it at 199. Same happens to me 227 on the showcase but 230 in the games list.

Am noticing that "Fist of Jesus" isn't just delisted in the normal sense of not being able to buy it anymore but the heavier one of having also gotten its store-page removed.

That is; I expect this is probably the essentially same issue as missing artwork in the profile's game list as discussed e.g. here: https://steamcommunity.com/discussions/forum/0/4511002214533773967/

For example all my Codemasters games are delisted, but whereas for example "Dirt Rally" still has its store-page up, "Dirt 3" hasn't, whereby former still has its profile game list artwork and latter hasn't. Not any of my "artless" games were also "perfect" so I can't confirm/deny directly that it's the same underlying issue but I sort of bet that it is.

And no, I have no idea why some games are delisted in the light sense with still a store page and others in the heavier one...

EDIT: In fact, rereading your OP you're saying that it (also) disappeared from your profile's game list outright, and indeed also I can't see "First of Jesus" there if I check your game list. That'd be the say that it wouldn't be the same issue certainly, since the other is exactly about the game still being on there but without artwork -- but also then that it'd seem we've now identified three levels of delisting; store page up but not able to buy, store page down, store page down and removed from users game lists.

it's not just the stor page thing, because like I said, I have other delisted gamess without a steam store page as well that I can see in my games list. One exxample is Afterfall Insanity, there's others...

It would seem that FOJ particularly is kinda bugged.

It is in my library tho... but not anywhere else, which is weird af.

Well, you said "not on the store", which is sort of multi-interpretable. As such thought I'd point out that other difference between "regular delisted" and "heavy delisted" games -- but yeah, also already edited my reply upon noticing you said it disappeared outright also from your profile's all games list, and doubly yes, Afterfall Insanity also has its store page removed, so I guess my comment wasn't too useful...

and yeah I saw your edit, we just got crossed up, no biggie... yeah it looks like an out-lier case... there's also the issue of seeing a different number of total games on my profile and on the games tab, which is also weird (the correct number is the one in the games tab, not on my profile)... but eh who the hell knows what steam is doing... =/

Variables 2 is Profile Features Limited and will not be counted on the perfect games showcase. I have more than 230 perfect games but some have been delisted etc..

omg forget about the perfect thing, who cares... I just mentioned that because it's how I noticed something was wrong...

the point is Fist of Jesus doesn't appear AT ALL in my game list... THAT is the problem, not the number of perfect games...

and btw, I think variables 2 isn't limited anymore, since it seems to be counted... either way, that IS NOT THE ISSUE.
