x56 joystick not recognised

trying to use x56 joystick and throttle in il2 and cliffs of dover, throttle control is recognised but joystick is missing and does not work in the game. Tried CoD joystick wizard and that all seems to work but when I try it in the game it doesnt!!!

Install the x56 software from Logitech and disable Steam input.

Logitech x56 software is installed and steam input disabled but still doesnt see joystick - weird that it sees the throttle but not the joystick. This setup has worked previously but has stopped working for some reason...

If the software has a reset option use it. If not uninstall then reinstall the software while the x56 is not plugged in. Reconnect the x56 once the software is installed and see if that fixes it.

Note: You could also try using a different usb port/s.
