Make sure the g29 is not connected.
Boot Steam and disable Steam input for any driving games you want to use the g29 with.
Shut down Steam.
Install the Logitech software (G-Hub) and run it.
Connect the g29 and ensure it is detected by the Logitech software.
Use the Logitech software to calibrate and set up the wheel and ensure the software continues to run in the background.
Boot Steam and do further calibration and set up the wheel in the in-game menus on a per game basis.
