How to backup multiple games at once
Steam used to have this feature, but they took it out and I dont have the time to backup each one individually. I've tried the whole copy pasting thing but it never works correctly

Go to your Library and select the games you wish to backup by Shift/Ctrl-clicking the games in the list. Then Right-click and select "Manage" > "Back Up Selected."

I always blame it on feature creep--software keeps getting more complicated! BTW manually backing up files is not that hard and is a better option if you need to backup many games. Steam's Backup/Restore is unavoidably too slow because files are compressed. Where people often run into problems is when they forget to copy the corresponding appmanifest files. Later on when they try to restore the games by adding the files to the "common" folder, they will find the game greyed-out in the Library because the appmanifest files were not added to the "steamapps" folder. In these situations, one only needs to install the game. Though Steam will appear to install from scratch, instead Steam should normally recognize existing files and keep downloads to a minimum.

I dont disagree that its easy and maybe better to backup my games manually like that. Its more the time it takes to pick a game, hit backup, wait for it to finish backing up and the time it takes for that depends on the games size, then repeat the process 30+ times. But with the way you told me to I can just set it and get back to work while it does its thing
