Steam Games Refund
Hi everyone,

I have some games that I'd bought a while ago (it's probably been a year or more). Is it, anyway at all, possible that Steam would consider refunding the amount for those games? I haven't even installed to play most of them. I know the policy is "under 2 hours and within 14 days". I was just wondering if there's anything else that I haven't come across.

Thanks.

you can try a manual ticket but your chances are next to 0 with how far past the purchase is.

https://help.steampowered.com -> login -> scroll down -> enter the name of the game or DLC in question -> view receipt -> I have a question about this purchase

Write your inquiry thoroughly and in a formal and courteous way, explaining the issues you face, the request for a refund and to where you wish to refund (wallet or the payment method used).

Over a year then no even a manual ticket won't get a refund.

Don't even bother with it. In close cases I'd say its always worth a try, but this? Not by a long shot.

If you were a few days over the limit, perhaps. Not a year.

Nope, no platform will ever allow a refund for games purchased over a year ago, period.
