Steam deck buttons

Lately I've had the y button, the quick menu, and the steam button all not working after putting the deck on standby. Sometimes rebooting will fix it and some times not. I've always used standby as opposed to switching it off so this is new.
In the past I've had sound issues and buttons activate when not pressed after resuming but they always went away one I restarted the game or just put it on standby and resumed again.

Any ideas?
