Don't forget folder access to disk then games today use Document folder.
and ofc we have no clue if this is windows defender or external app security.
make sure steam.exe and games own name.exe's is on whitelist ( some game devs use config.exe so there is more sometimes. ) any .com and .exe need to added
i mention this because RE1-4 could be seen as older games today or past games that do this.
and game devs can even say they did not had this issue in the past. then we play RE1 or next one in the serie's
ps.
nice to see you told laptop spec and all was good there, for game requirements.
“Open the game folder, find and delete the files named ‘crash reporter,’ ‘crashreport.dll,’ and ‘installermessage,’ then launch the game again. Shoutout to player Jakecore for the tip—much appreciated!”
Point is crash report onlæy get made then there is a problerm, they normaly dotn prevent it from running.
Im pretty sure on this, i bet even other helper here will say you did not fix it, because crash should keep happend, you change nothing here, game app did with reset its issue thern it dont work seith current setting you did on game app did..
Many steam user can tell yuo game app do reset then it dont like some setting.
also why i bother with a reply, or we wont learn that app can do that.
ps.
do take it up with game devs ( support )
