Video not showing in activity feed anymore

Hiya,

I posted a video of my gameplay on Steam and it was in my activity feed, but I deleted it and reuploaded it but it's not showing in my activity feed anymore. Is there any of fix for this?

Any help/info would be greatly appreciated

If it is not about the profile privacy settings, or the 'My activity' and 'Friends Activity', try removing one of your friends (to reset the friends system), you can add them again later.

Hiya Maria, it is actually not about that. So here's the thing... I've uploaded a gameplay of mine on Steam and then deleted it because I edited something. Now, whenever I try to upload it again, it just won't show up in my feed anymore. Maybe I should just wait 24 hours before uploading it again?

only other thing I could think of is that does the new video have the exact same thumbnail, title and description? Steam might think its a dupe or something hence why its not posting so maybe slightly amending the title might get it to show?

Let us know if you succeed. In case you haven't, try to ask your friends if they can see your video. Maybe it just bugged to you, but not to friends.

@Maria @Tangociss So, i tried clearing my cache, changing title and thumbnail but same result. I did try posting the video under another game title which worked. I thought maybe if I post it back to the original game title it'll then work, but nope. I sent a ticket to Steam support just now. Hopefully they know how to fix it. I'll keep u guys updated once I get a reply.

I did the same thing as you and had the same problem. Were you able to fix it? I even tried reposting the video on YouTube to generate a new video ID, unlinked and relinked my YouTube account, but it didn’t work.
