Packet burst/lag

So i upgraded to a new graphics card and since ive had packet burst or split second lag, I since have upgraded my CPU and have spent a MONTH trying to figure out what this issue is, today i downloaded xbox gamepass to play some games and low and behold no packet burst or momentary lag so I've gathered that the issue is with steam. The issue happens with all games played not just while playing online. i have uninstalled steam several times and verifid files so many times before i figured out that it was steam in general so i need to i know how to fix this i have all my games on steam

For Call of Duty specifically, it their servers. They have known of this for over a year in MWIII, Wz and now BO6.

it only started for me recently last month or so but its on every thing online, campaign on apex on ready or not

Have u made sure that u have gotten the correct and updated drivers for the card?

Yes I’ve double checked driver for everything updated steam and still some old stuff through steam same game through game pass has zero issues

Could you have a Cache issue ( buffering up that catch up ) so you get maybe a fast forward lag, is this what you try to explan ?

In the old days it was know as you don't keep standard values or OC OR pc is stuggle with viratual ram, but as i said thats was old pc ways then pc did this, cant say you have this issue on new pc unless something aient working as it should.

BIOS and chipset drivers and OC is still being see as part of the issue, imo.

Same goes with freshly install gpu drivers.

And run windows update after this +

DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-Image /Restorehealth
SFC /Scannow
chkdsk c:
chkdsk d:
chkdsk e:

Make sure OS check don't find other issue.

alot of missing infro from you with spec and what you did after upgrade pc.
