Local Coop
I need advice here from someone who understands windows and its way of working please.
So I had the "wish" to make games with no support for local coop available to play in one pc, with no need of virtual machines. Hours and hours laters, I came with the perfect method, Borderlands 2 full screen on 2 monitors, each monitor fullscreen windowed (no sheety borders) controlled each by 1 xbox controller, all perfect, smooth and pretty awesome indeed. Then came the turn of Payday 2, same thing, made my way through Sandboxie to open 2 games from 2 steam accounts, set them fullscreen windowed to each monitor with 1 controller each, great! The problem in this case is that I just dont know why I am able to controll only 1 controller at once, so I can move through settings for example in "player 1" but if I want player 2 to move I have to switch the windows focus.
I have 2 ideas, but no idea of how making them to work_:
1. Set one window to read the input from the controller while it is not focused (as I think borderlands 2 does)
2. Simply keep the focus on both windows (something that AFAIK is just impossible).
Also if both options are imposible, what would you try? I'll be glad to hear any ideas you guys have and also will pleased to make a full guide of this thing if I manage myself to get this working. It would just be amazing to play BL2 (actually this one works 10/10), Payday 2 and basically any coop game that doesnt have local coop supported.

que tu no sepas hacerlo no significa que sea imposible, o acaso es que ni entiendes lo que pone? :D
What you've done is pretty much all you can do, there may be a way to keep focus on both windows at once, just keep searching for the answer.

I'm pretty sure I heard of a program that allows two keyboards and mice to be plugged into the same machine and act separately, you could use something like this to get both windows in focus at the same time.

Oh, that sounds very interesting, do you remember the name or something else so I can find it?

A quick google led to SoftXpand, seems like it is exactly what you need, but from the comments it looks like the software is ancient and has sever issues with win8/10.

EDIT: Seems like ASTER: Multiseat is exactly what you need. There is a 30 day trial available and it is compatible with Windows 10

Thank you, I've just checked it and the problem is that it costs 80€ and yes it could do what I am looking for better, but my point is that I can do this with borderlands 2 but not with payday 2, anyway thank you very much for the help.
