Same game, one pc,two users (PLEASE HELP!!)
Okay the title'll need some explaining so that's what i'll do
So i have CSGO installed on my pc and a friend of mine wants to buy and install it too(on his laptop).Problem is, place he lives in doesn't have a broadband connection worth using...so he's asked me to download it for him..Now my question is-can i log on to steam FROM MY PC using HIS ACCOUNT DETAILS ,download the game for him and transfer the files to his laptop?
i really need a little help with this guys...if the above method is naive(which im fully aware it may be) could you, maybe, suggest an alternative given our situation?
Thanks in advance

click steam in the top left corner of steam go Backup and Restore Games, then backup your CS:GO to a folder copy that folder to his laptop then all he needs to do is hit restore game after buying it.
Thanks Mr.Owl...where exactly does he copy my folder to?

anywhere on his comp when you do a restore it will ask you to find the folder
cool...so he pastes then using a 3g connection(best thing available, for him) buys and restores it and boom...done right? so how does he restore it (sorry we're both noobs here :P )

When he buys it let it start the download then stop it, then he needs to go Steam in the top left corner and hit the backup and restore game click the restore game find the folder it should install from there.
right...thanks a ton man
