On the other hand, you can uninstall dlc's.
Dlc's and games to be exact.
because I wanted to delete an update but does that mean I need to do the samething?
Updates are used by developers to fix bugs in their games and add new things, if you don't update your game you will not be able to play it.
Example: You are running the version 1.9 of a game, the developers release a new update ( version 2.0), all the players will need to update the game to version 2.0 in order to play it.
Hope that made it more clear for you, so why you want to delete updates or patches ?
