Games stuck in "Update Queued", cannot play them or d/l new game
So in my Manage Downloads screen I currently have 2 games that are stuck in "Update Queued". I cannot get them to download or remove them from the queue. This is preventing me not only from accessing those games but I think also from downloading Rise of the Tomb Raider that I just purchased. Any help fixing this would be much appreciated.

Try to remove them, if nothin helps try to restart steam manually then try again

Not sure what you mean by 'remove'. Do you mean delete them? I'd rather not do that unless as a last resort. Also, a restart of steam hasn't worked.

By remove i meant going to the games folder on SteamApp and delete the two folders that contain the name of the two games, and then stop the steam process from the task manager and launching steam again. If the problem still remains, try to do ' verify game files ' on each of the two games and when the analyzing ends. The 'update queued' glitch goes away.

here is one way one resets the steam program if it becomes glitched... did you try this yet?

Completely exit Steam and go to the folder called C:\Program Files\Steam\ (this is the default location for a Steam installation
- if you set a different installation directory, you will need to browse to it).
Delete all of the files in this folder except:
The steam and Steamapps folders and Steam.exe (If 'exe' is not visible, look for the black and white Steam icon)
Restart your computer.
Then, you will need to launch Steam.exe from within the Steam installation folder, and not from a pre-existing shortcut.
With Steam running, re-test the original issue.
