HELP!!! XBOX ONE Controller Not Working On Windows 10

Windows 10, When plugged in it will blink if i press the home button, that's it it wont connect at all. i tried everything i could think of, it wont even pop up on device manager. the pc makes no indication that anything is even plugged in. i checked the USB ports, the cables and it works on my friends PC. So WTF! I even reinstalled the USB drivers. HELP

Im not re-syncing to the console. i just sold my console, it wont connect to my PC.

Remove the green label from the wireless gaming receiver.
Insert the gaming receiver's USB connector into a powered USB 2.0 port on the computer (on the front or back of your computer).

I dont have Wireless receiver. all USB, but i just plugged it in. now what

Restart PC, and press the XBOX button before you boot into Windows.

If this fixes your problem, it might be a problem with 'default devices', if you use multiple controllers. Just let me know if this is the case.

Nothing, it blinks. but let me try that guide a min. it sounds lke it could fix it.

problem is, thats the wireless driver. im on wired connection. and windows is supposed to automaticly download and install the driver when i plugged in the controller via USB

there's probably something you could try. I don't have the same setup to reproduce the problem, so it's up to you to find people that have similair problems. (PS3 with SCP drivers + Windows 7)

Found it, its a bug popular in ASUS systems, refusing to download certain updates. I need to install the drivers manually. :P But for finding downloads for windows 10 updates? pffftt
