New device?
I've been on Steam for almost a year now and now that the new mobile guard thing is out, I can't trade normally because I have an old brick phone. I downloaded Bluestacks to run the Steam app on it and I turned the guard on. Two days later I just felt the need to remove that program and I just felt unsafe for some reason. I followed the steps and I removed steam guard but when I go to Bluestacks (I logged off from the Steam app) it still says the code that changes every 30 seconds and has my nickname under it. And the other problem is that when I removed my mobile guard I was asked to put in a code for my Steam account on my pc and Chrome, I got the codes on my email and I put them in and logged in without any issues. I went to the Steam guard options and pressed the "log off from all other devices" or something button. I put the code into Chrome again and I wanted to test if it's going to ask me to confirm a trade over my email or over my phone so I invited my friend to trade it said that I logged in from a new device and I have to wait 7 days to be able to trade again. Is this from Chrome or something else? And does the code on Bluestacks with my nickname mean anything and if it does how to remove it?
Thank you.

If you would like to remove the Mobile Authenticator you need the code that was given to you and told you to write it down.

I was never asked to put in a code for some reason.
If you would please go to this link and click remove Mobile Authenticator. NOTE That removing the authenticator your profile has less protection so only continue removing the authenticator if you feel you want to or need to.

I just don't like having this program and my entire account's safety on it and I'm getting a better phone soon so I just want to remove it. I tried following the steps of removing the Authenticator and now when I put in the code that I get from my email it doesn't even have the option of removing my Authenticator, but when I get into Bluestacks it still has my account name on it and the code changing all the time.
The code you need to put into the remove button is the code that they tell you to write down withing the mobile app.
I went to my guard options and it said that I no longer have Steam Mobile Authenticator and all the confirmation codes go to my email. I went to Bluestacks, logged in again and logged out and the code was gone. Does this mean I did it?
Follow the below link

https://store.steampowered.com/account/

What does it say under account security?
Does it say
Status:
Protected by Steam Mobile Authenticator
Or something different?
"Protected by Steam Guard email"
Is it done?
Yes it is done.
omg thank you so much, I got worried that this was something serious..

Another thing, this trade ban I got, is it because of logging in to Chrome after deleting the mobile guard?
Your trade ban will be revoked after 7 days. After 7 days every trade you make will have a 72 hour cool down (3day holds on them) This can be prevented by adding the Mobile Auth. I think you have a trade ban for removing the Mobile auth. As i've never removed it my knowledge on that side is blank.
