Steam Store, Thumbnails, and Pictures Not Loading

Launching the Steam app today only to find that the steam store front page doesn't load correctly or not at all. It will be a black screen that will eventually load blue underlined text to the left that are the titles of the categories. Along with this problem any profile pictures do not load, nor does the game backgrounds when I select them in the library. All my games launch fine and everything, but the Steam Store just will not load properly among other things.

Hmm, what else do you have in common, if the Internet providers are different?
May be OS?
And there is no mass problem, otherwise it would be the "sea" of such topics, but here only a couple.

#48 - try disable Steam Cloud (only if your saves already on PC - it will fix problem for single player games)

If anything those viruses would steal the accounts and force us to pay money to get them back, not mess up our store pages.

sambacry attack ISP infrastructures, all Linux servers, install bitcoin miner, and make server overloaded, it can't service users, for users it look like server under DDoS, non responses...

Have any of you reported a problem in support or familiar Valve staff?

I cant move to any other steam page but this one or it will take ages to load, otherwise I would have send a ticket.
You think one of the Steam servers got infiltrated by that Sombracry... thing?

I probably have the solution for you. I had the same problem for many weeks until i decided to run Malwarebyte. I've been trying all the solutions i found on the internet but nothing fixed the problem. I had a trojan.

You are not alone. Same problem here, and the forum is full of it... Try the big picture mode, it seems to work for those affected. It's not a solution but a workaround for the time being.

We all getting trojans at the same time? I dont know, besides, I only keep visiting the same two sides and I doubt facebook or youtube has trojans.

I've reported the problem to steam and had to send some screenshots. I'm still waiting for the reply, hopefully they are working on a solution.

I dont think it is a virus, I mean.... why would there be a virus that only messes with the pages of one single software client? Or even the browser store for that matter. no other page has problems, the pc is not slower and even origin has an online store and it runs fine for me, I just got a game there today. I wasnt even on the internet itself when that problem started, I played 7 days to die the whole night and it suddenly started

Hm... could it be caused by a game? 7 days to die is known to have a memory leak sort of thing and is known to crash to blue screen... which I witnessed today aswell. Other than that I used to play The Long Dark a lot. Maybe its the games

Not trojans - just internet worms, like Wanna\Samba Cry - you don't need visit any resource, just connect to internet \ infected network \ any usb device with fat16 \ 32 - smartphone, smart watches, band, photo\video cam, player, photo frame, smart light, etc.
Peoples forget about worms - large epidemics are not so often...
