What does "it shows in the DLC" mean? Have you just registered a piece of DLC?
What error message?

well you didn't buy a game, you bought a DLC for Train Simulator. it looks like you just bought a loco, so to use it you need to play Train Simulator.

^ well i dont care what it is, you either bought this

or this

you didnt buy a game, you bought content for a game. launch the game to access that content I would suppose

cannot even find the loco no where nor the content of the game to play. The game was not downloaded on steam but it was bought seperately over the counter.

If you could register the piece of DLC on Steam, it means that you have the game on Steam. Now go play it.

you just said it, it is a DLC. what's so hard to understand it? launch train simulator and play your DLC if you installed it.

It shows in the DLC window because it *IS* DLC. What you bought is DLC even if you didn't realise it.

DLC can be bought separate from a game (which is how you bought it), and it does *NOT* show up individually in your Library on Steam.

This YouTube video might help you figure out how to find the DLC you bought.

It might not be specifically for what you got but it might help show you how to look through more of Train Simulator's menus.. so maybe you will understand how to find your DLC within the main game.

on amzon it says “Requires Railworks 2 installed to play this game", I suppose this has been renamed to Train Sumulator 2016 now, and your DLC should be for this game.
