Either you disable Windows Key, or leave it on.
Most keyboards have a Windows Key toggle switch though, so u can disable Winkey while in games to avoid accidentally switching back to Desktop.
Without downloading/using a 3rd party app to disable/enable Winkey, u can simply create a file switch of sorts, using Registry key:

First go to the entry and export the main so you can use that as an Enable.
Then once you disable Winkey in Reg, you can export that newly changed key so you can use that as a Disable.
