Mass message Friends list?
Is this possible? I'd like to ask those on my friends list if there is interest in creating a particular group. It's a lot of work to have to message them one by one.

Is there a way to send them all the same inquiry?

You can make a steam group and invite them all. Steam groups allow you to make announcements.

It's been a while since ive used the steam groups as an admin but im quite sure you can invite a bunch of people on your friends list to a group at the same time.

I suppose the problem with creating the group first then inviting (although that would be easier if I had to do it 1 by 1 vs messaging 1 by 1), is that I don't know if there's enough interest in the group to begin with so I don't know if it'd be worthwhile to even create.

You should be able to invite everyone in 1 go then a single announcement made in the group would send a notification to everyone in the group.

Right, but that 1 announcement goes out to ONLY those who have already accepted the invite (vs everyone who was simply invited) as I understand it.

It's a little wonky (in terms of what I want to accomplish), but I think I can navigate it a bit here.

Thanks for the help. ;)
