Steam Machine/HTPC cursor style for Desktop use

For windows users, like myself, the cursor options are not the best especially for HTPC use

I know it can seem strange to use a large cursor with most of the desktop interface but for file management its a must have

All I need is a cursor that is the same size and look as big picture modes cursor to make it easily destinguishable from the rest of the white back grounds

Ive already tried to make my own but it only works with high DPI

Is there anyway to have a high dpi cursor without upping the rest of the computer set to a higher DPI?
