What games could my mac play?
My Mac has the following:
3 GHz Intel Core i7
8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
Intel Iris 1536 MB

I'm wanting to play GTA V, One Piece Pirate Warriors 3, etc. - does my macbook pro have the requirements to do so or are the graphics not good enough?

You have a great core and a decent amount of RAM you should be able to play most games but what is holding you back is your graphics card. In conclusion you can play 90% of games unless they're super demanding, at low - medium settings. I hope I helped and good luck with your gaming.

Without knowing exactly which of the 6 versions of Intel Iris you have, I'm going to say no. Depending on the exact version the answer varies from "no" to "only on low setttings" to "you might be able to get medium settings".

Edit: And that answer also varies with the game.

Most likely not, some games are high requesting when it comes to graphics, and with a poor graphics card there are probably going to be problems here and there. It all depends on the game.

GTA 5 and Sleeping Dogs hmm.. In my opinion you might be able to play them at a bearable frame rate with low graphical settings but don't take my word for it cause I may not be right. You could always purchase the game then test it out for <2 hours and get a refund if you are not happy with the performance.
