Cannot download steam client. Blocked by AVG.
Hi all, on yesterday i formatted my laptop and reinstalled everything and when i tried to download steam client AVG deleted it saying its virus. Can anyone help me with this, plz?

Uninstall AVG and download a real antivirus, or if you want to keep that rubbish add steam to an exclusion list in the settings :nyancat:

Free - Avast antivirus. Paid - Bitdefender

oki thanks for the help. i'll download avast and use it. does it take too much system resource? just wanted to know only.

Not as much as AVG, it has a lot more options/tools for security and a very impressive detection rate
