csgo opens then closes 3 seconds later

I'm running 64bit windows 10 and have never had this problem before it just started happening out of the blue. I didn't install any programs recently. Any help is good thanks!

You need to be more specific , i dont get it, why does it crash? have you put anything on the launch option? have you tried to restart your computer? be more specific.

I have restarted my computer and have no launch options setup. There is no crash error that comes up.

Alright found a fix if it works for you, First go to your steam folder then go to steamapps>common>Cs go then delete the cs go exe, then go to steam and right click on counter strike and click properties then go to local files then verify the integrity of the game cache then go back to cs go folder steam after the verification is done, right click on the cs go exe, go to compatibility then untick everything then click ok, then go to steam again , and click on cs go again and properties then set launch options set it to cl_disablehtmlmotd 1
then it should be fixed :D

Please state what kind of problems your having though ^-^ and what you did already that didn't work.

tried this fix plus multiple videos uninstalling csgo and steam and restarting my pc and still nothing
