WTFast :(
I've fell for the WTFast ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. I want to uninstall it but it says I can't because it's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ running. You can check my profile right now, I bet it's saying I'm in game in WTFast. I tried uninstalling through Control Panel and I've tried deleting it through it's properties. What do I do?

I also had this problem, go to your library and select the game. Then right click it and go to properties, then go to data in the top menu. Finally click delete local files.

I unfortunately do not see the Data thing. I am using a Steam skin called Metro. I tried to revert back to the original Steam skin but it keeps telling me to close WTFast before I restart! Before anyone supposes any other suggestions, here is the full story I posted in the WTFast discussions:
I decided to install WTFast in order to stop my CS:GO ping problems, which is now fixed. I tried installing WTFast through the website. After installing, nothing popped up. I decided to start it through the .exe file. Nothing popped up. I decided to install it through Steam. After installing, I tried to open the client up. Something popped up! But it wasn't the client, no no, it was a Steam error message saying "Failed to start the app (Already running)." Heck, right now it says that I'm "In-game" using WTFast! I decided to uninstall it. But no matter what method I decide to uninstall it, manually, through Control Panel, or through Steam, it won't uninstall because it is "running." I need a solution to uninstall WTFast. I do not wish to use the program due to my already-fixed internet. This has been driving me crazy!

Have you tried restarting your system? If it's auto-starting, booting into Safe Mode should prevent it from auto-starting.

I never understood why people though WTFast did anything. By definition any VPN adds latency. The only way it would be 'better' is if your ISP was puprposely blocking traffic. Otherwise a VPN doesnt make you 'closer' to anything
