Can't add friend on Steam

Hey can someone help me with adding a friend on steam ... we both have made an account and have spent $27 Canadian already and still can't find eachother in the search

Try linking them to this thread. There's an "Add Friend" button on your profile they can use to add you.

The big button on the top right hand side that says "Add Friend".
If they can't use that button they probably don't have a Premium Steam Account and you should try adding them instead.

ok well my steam level is 3 hence I just started on it and there is no big button that says add friend in top right under my profile

Of course you won't see that button on your own profile yourself.

Give your friends your profile URL, or add them yourself.

(Profile > Right Mouse Click > Copy Page URL)

If they don't see such button on your profile, then they're not logged in.
