Refunds not returned.
I had recently got a Visa Walmart gift card for Christmas and wanted to buy some games off of steam. After doing this I found that some games didn't work or ran too poorly that they were not playable. So I refunded those games.
But sadly I had accidentally refunded the money back to the Visa gift card which can't accept more money. So the money had just vanished. Is there any way for me to get my money back? And if so how?

Steam will likely be able to reverse the transaction back onto the Visa, so not all hope is lost. It usually takes *up to* 7 days for the funds to be available to you after a refund has been approved.

If anything, submit a support ticket (https://help.steampowered.com/) and pose your question directly to a customer service rep.

Okay thanks for the clarification Raptor Jesus. And I've already put up a support ticket a couple days ago. So I guess all I have to do is wait...

My pleasure. Support can be very slow so allow them some time to reach your ticket. If you haven't heard back in 7 days, update your current ticket, do not make a new one.

If the refund fails back to the visa the default steam action is to put it on your wallet so you should be covered, but the ticket is always a good idea to be safe.
