Money from refunded game going to Steam wallet instead of credit card, WHAT TO DO???
I bought FM16 on steam but i didnt like it, too hard and boring, so i decided to do a refund on the game. Sent a request of refund and choosed to get the money back to my mastercard as i bought it from.

First i get an email saying: ''Hello WinnieVACman
Your refund request has been received by Steam!
We're reviewing your refund request and will get back to you as soon as possible.
Football Manager 2016
Purchased: Dec 29, 2015 PST
Refund request: 54,99€ to your MasterCard''

A couple of minutes later i get an email saying:
Hello WinnieVACman
Your purchase has been refunded by Steam.
We’ve issued the refund to your Steam wallet. The funds will be shown now as pending and will become available to spend within 7 days.
Total refund: 54,99€ to your Steam Wallet

To my steam wallet????????? WTF i clicked on mastercard??

what can i do??? please help

I have the same problem... I purchased Sniper Elite 3 and Goat Simulator. I got same types of email and I dont know what to do...

Same here, chose to refund to my Visa but all of the return emails show "to your Steam Wallet.", but also on one of my purchases where it used my card and 14c from my wallet and so far it only says ( Pending 0,14c ) instead of the whole price.

So i'm just guessing the emails screwed up and it should refund to our cards, if not just send a support ticket in a week.

This is because, steam will try and send them to your chosen payment however if it fails to due to third party reason like your bank not accepting refunds and so on it will send them to your steam wallets

It seems to be an error stemming in the last couple of days. If you don't have the compete funds showing as pending in your wallets; it's safe to say the refund will be processed back to your cards as requested but the emails Steam distributed were incorrect. Any problems, just open a support ticket after the 7 or 14 day listed duration has passed.

So far got those 14c back in my wallet, havent seen the rest though yet so hopefully it'll be back on the card in a few days.

I did but it was only because it used some of my wallet AND money from my card, and yeah, hopefully it was just an email bug! All we can do for now is just wait.
