Sale of Trading Cards

How come there is a block until a specific date to be able to sell my trading cards?

Did you get them as a crafting reward, or buy them from the community market?

I think I got them as a reward. I didn't buy it.

Crafting rewards inherit any restrictions of the items used to make them. If you bought the cards to craft the badge from the market, they had a 7 day trade/market restriction.

Oh so I just have to wait until the restriction time goes away. Then I'll be able to sell them?

you got them for crafting game badges with cards bought from the market than.
