Not getting any emails [SOLVED]

When I trade or purchase something from the store, Steam will prompt me to verify my email.
Ex.: Verify your email to confirm this trade. (ending with hotmail.com, gmail.com etc.)
If someone can tell me what is the cause and how to fix it, that will be a christmas and happy new year miracle!

EDIT LOG #1: I'm going to switch my main Email to gmail.com. I hope this works

EDIT LOG #2: I changed my email, but there seems to be no emails... I hope gaben uses his millions to fix this :/

EDIT LOG #3: Alright, it seems that hotmail.com was having tunneling issues with valve so that just got out of the way, I am now recieving emails on gmail.com

I've been experiencing the same problem with hotmail.com, however a friend with gmail.com still got his email immediately yesterday (don't know if that's still the case today).

I'm getting my mails just fine. Daily. I'm not using trashmail errr .. hotmail.

Getting no emails through AIM mail either. I reinstalled steam because I was having issues with a purchase. The purchase finally went through despite all the error messages. No confirmation email though. After reinstalling steam I need to reauthorize my PC but I can't get the email to do so. Having lots of problems today with Steam store and emails.

I had steam set up to use a very old yahoo account so it didn't clutter up my "main" email, but yesterday I noticed that I did not receive any emails at all, even though I had purchased a game as well as some things off the community market. When I noticed that I still hadn't received the emails today, and that no new emails from steam were showing up either, I changed my email to my gmail account, and have been receiving messages since then. So if you have another email address, perhaps try switching to that one instead.
