It doesn't work for me (still). I have Hotmail, and it has ALWAYS worked before for every single email confirmation I've ever done (bought item on Market, sold item on Market, Trade Confirmation). At least it did until Steam decided to fall apart.
I'm not sure why the poster above said hotmail did not work for email confirmations, as it's never missed one since I've been using it last September.
I'm not using Hotmail or AOL or Gmail. I've checked all my spam settings and folders. I was receiving them earlier but for the past few hours I haven't been getting them.
Obviously something is going wrong at Valve's end. I've done some googling and this problem has happened before when Valve's servers get overloaded.
Judging from how it's been since the 25th, you should have said "What hasn't gone wrong on Valve's end.
He's just trolling or something; trade confirmations are currently down for everyone.
There's a subset of users on these forums who like to blame every single error on the user rather than Valve because 99% of the time it is indeed the user's fault. However this is one of those rare occaisions when Valve is at fault so "Sooty & Sweep" just looks like a fool.
