I'm not receiving emails from Steam.
Recently, I was trying to open up my library to a friend's account, since I don't often use Steam for anything more than an hour a day. So I tried activating the family sharing options, but then I discovered that you had to be logged in on their computer to activate. So I did that, and it told me I had to activate the account on the computer and I waited for the email, and it never came. I tried several times and waited overnight and still, no email. I then tried changing my password, just to see if it was just the activation email that wasn't arriving, but the password one didn't come through, either.

It is not an issue with the email address, I know which address is linked the account and to be sure, I have checked all three of my active email addresses, but none of them have received any messages from Steam, in the last two days.

Is there anything I can do to prompt the emails to come through? Should I keep trying to activate it until one eventually comes through? Or should I just wait?

Same here, I needed a verification code so that I can access my account from my freshly reinstalled PC and no mails are coming

I have received a few mails this morning from steam support, I have the both steam mail addresses in my contacts, I did checked my spam and it is the correct mail connected with the account. I even asked a few friends to try if they could receive the codes for their accounts, none of them could.

One of the mail we have tried to receive the mail on was on our own hosting server, so it cant be the case that the mail would be filtered out on the server level. That leaves us with the only conclusion that THERE ARE NO MAILS BEING SENT.

Hope they can return the changes that lead to this soon...

How will help if I change the email?
On support page:
Email Change
Changing your account email address will prevent trading for five days.

I want to trade. So changing the email isn't an option, or am I missing something?

we shouldn't have to change a damn thing if we have been verified right? ive been verified for a few years now.... nothing wrong with my e-mail, that means i don't have to change that right?? maybe for once its not the effin users fault, maybe valve should stop pissing off every wanna be hacker or in this case leet and fix they're security issues once and for all. i don't know about you all but this has been the worst year yet for spam from valve about security... im starting to wounder if every online gameing outlet is like this?

I will try changing the email address that the account is registered to in a little while. Perhaps they're having issues with their records on what accounts are linked to what addresses? Who knows, I've never had to deal with this before, and it needs to be addressed, because some people know my password, and I can't change my password until I can get this confirmation email.
