Windows Aero With Fallout 4
Whenever I launch Fallout 4 (Windows 7), there is a message that comes up asking me If I want to disable the Aero on the desktop. IT always happens just after the game launches, aand therefore tabs me out. When I try to tab back in, all 4 of my screens go into epilepsy mode and I cannot get back into the game...My specs are TOTALLY overkill for this game and I don't need to disable Aero. So how can I get rid of the message?
SPECS:
Intel Core i7-4770K
2x GTX 980ti in SLI
32GB Corsair Vengeance Ram
500GB SSD
2x 1TB HDD

What exactly does the message say and doesn't it have a "Don't ask again" checkbox?

"Do you want to Change the color scheme to improve performance?"
"Change the color scheme to Windows 7 Basic"
"Keep the current color scheme but ask me again if my computer continues to perform slowly"
"Keep the current color scheme, and dont show this message again."
If I select the last one, the message will still show up if I relaunch the game if I was able to tab back in the first time.

And is that a Windows message or from some third party?

Windows message.

Hm. Weird. Maybe the SLI setup is the culprit, are you running the latest driver and does it have a profile for that game?
Also, check if any compatibility setting for the game is set.
Finally, let Windows set the scheme to basic, it should return to normal when you quit the game.

Running the latest drivers.
I have tried changing to basic, but, weirdly, the message still shows up...

Idea: Set the compatibility mode to basic design. This way, there's no need for the message to pop up.
