Bought a game but didn't receive an email confirmation...?
i bought a game the day after the big crazy glitch that happened, and the transaction seemed to hang for like 5-6 minutes... now, the game is in my library, and the purchase shows in my my history, but i have not recieved the confirmation email of the purchase, and it's been a day or so already...

will the email ever come? has anyone else had the problem of not getting confirmation emails?

you should better communicate with steam support,it's the only official thing you can do .

You can get the information (games purchased, receipt number) by going to your account and selecting that transaction, under purchase history. Shows the date and items purchased. Receipt number is shown up top on left

If you have the Steam Authenticater APP it shows up in there! I know that threw me for a loop when i first got it

Yes,I am having the same problems. No email for purchases or confirmation's for the market.

If you don't get the e-mail immediately, you won't get it all. Support can't do anything because it's not something they have access to. Or something along those lines. Trust me, I hate that. I have a copy in my inbox of every purchase I make so I can see what i buy. I absolutely hate that I can't request another e-mail confirmation.

Support should at least be able to do something about that. But then that would require access to your purchase history. Possibly your personal information too. Maybe. So I can sort of see why they can't get access. Still, they are supposed to be professionals, so they have to keep that sort of info private right? Or they get booted out of their job.

Something like that at least. I'll let you folks know If I get a mail anyway, but I really, really, seriously doubt it.

Like I said, if you don't get it immediately, as in within the next five minutes or so (probably much sooner) then you won't get it at all. Point in fact, I have received no e-mail.
