Rainbow Six Siege Season Pass

I bought Rainbow Six Siege on Uplay, I saw that the season pass is on sale on Steam though. If I buy the season pass on Steam, will it work even though I bought the actual game on Uplay/From Ubisoft?

I would think so, the game is also in your steam library right?
BTW is the season pass still worth purchasing at this point?

I do believe so, because you will still have to active the product using uplay when you get the activation key.

Edit: Thank you to Cathulhu he pointed out that it would NOT work.

It will not work, it even says so on the store page for the Season Pass.
