I have a $20 gift card for steam and want to use this for my boyfriend and I to get a game on our separate accounts/computers. Is this possible?

When you add the code on the back of the card, the full amount is added. Can't just add partial.

No, you cannot transfer steam wallet to steam wallet.

Yah i am but i got a 20 dollar gift card and i am going to use it for the game i want and it adds all of the credits on my account so i cant transfer so im just going to use my personal money for it haha

Or you can just do what pheace said. If your bf wants the funds for a game, just purchase the game as a gift and send it to him.

It's quite simple. Add the funds to yours, buy the game you want. He tells you what he wants, you click purchase > purchase as gift > click his name > confirm form of payment > done.
