I was always concert which GPU is better GTX 950 or GTX 950M. I have the "M" one so can you tell me is it better or worse. And after that can you give me an explanation of your answear?

that M means that the graphic card was modified for use in laptops, and by performance they are weaker than the normal graphic cards for desktop computers.

A GTX 950 is a desktop card while the M is a laptop card so it has reduced cores, shaders, lower frequency, etc. but has way less power usage

and the GTX 950M has an older architecture similar to the old maxwell cards like the gtx 750

If you have a PC then get the 950, seems pretty pointless getting a 950M for a PC.

depends on the game; a lot of games can at run at 768p or 900p resolutions. That card is not very good for 1080p on new games

A 950M (laptop) is substantially worse than a 950 (desktop). The desktop version is roughly 3.5 times better:

Note that the same CPU is 2x, same graphics card 3x weaker on laptops as by a desktop.

Guess is a obvious answer that for gaming a laptop is a very bad idea.
