Does Getting An Achievement Give You XP?

I was wondering as i have been confused with all the cards and such but this is what i want to know. Say i was playing CS:GO Then i get an Achievement for a certain amount of kills with a weapon. Would i get XP towards my steam account? Bottom line is i want to know is ♥♥♥♥♥ing an Achievement gives you XP to your steam level account.

Achievement hunting, only for personal "fun" or showing off the rare ones in the achievement showcase.

Also, getting xp would be a bad idea because people would buy games with tons of achievements and use the achievement manager apps to get them all with a few clicks.

There are a rare few ways you can get a bit of experience aside from cards. But as far as I know, you're pretty much stuck with crafting badges if you want XP.

No, achievements in-game grant no Steam XP. Craft badges for Steam XP.
