To answer your question, you will own the DLC forever. The purpose of a Season Pass is just to pre-order DLC, and after the DLC is released, to sell it all in a bundle at a slight discount.
The "Early Bird Special" came out at the same time as the game, "Clash in the Clouds" a little later, and then the two "Burial at Sea" episodes after that. And for what it's worth, "Burial at Sea" is pretty damn good, so buying it is a good idea.
