I bought Arma II Combined operations on disc and...

So i bought combined operations on disc to play DayZ. ive installed the games and theyre working and ive downloaded dayz launcher but when i go to start on a server it says the path for arma 2 hasnt been found & i dont know how to fix it. i copied a video i watched and i put the path in as C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Arma2. im thinking its because arma 2 & OA arent in the steam apps folder & i have no idea how to get them there.. need help, thanks.

If you didn't buy them on Steam go to the DayZ launcher forums or support.

Find were they are installed wich is gonna be in this path: os/programfiles86/Arma
Do not copy that it was for an example.
Look for the installation directory and copy that path if it was installed from disk then it will have its own folder for it in programfiles86 have a look

Operation Arrowhead was in that folder but not Arma II. should i just put the same path for both of them?

Install both to default paths or you'll make the problem 100x worse than it already is.
