Is there anyway to send a steam gift card for a friend in a different country/currency?

how an account from a different region can send a gift card to a friend in another region??? i read that this isnt possible if its a different currency, so is there a way to send a gift card in the right currency? can i choose the currency in which i give the gift card? helppp

One way is to snail mail it to them. Another is to scratch off the card and paste it to them through chat, etc.

You can send a digital Steam gift card right through Steam. You don't need another store or wallet cards.

Yes, I've sent several digital cards to friends in different countries and it's gone through fine and it'll convert as appropriate

Buy the digital Steam gift card directly from your Stean account. They convert automatically and its all in Steam.

No one but Steam sells digital gift cards. What you see online from "resellers" are those that own physical cards and will send you the code from it after purchase. You take a lot of risks which may include a fake code, previously redeemed code, never activated code, etc. and you have little recourse in which to obtain a refund if things go wrong like those already stated or the currency restrictions that are now in place. You'll usually be paying more than the face value and, even when paying less, most likely funding other illicit crimes like fraud and money laundering by doing so.
