Unable to switch language for games

I am changing it at the properties in the library, but it wont download anything and wont change the language

Can anybody help me?

I tested it on multiple games in steam, like Gothic 3, Warhammer:Darktide, Dead Cells and so on, also a friend of mine wasnt able to switch it too.

Different games use different means. If you dont want to look in, let's say, game option menus yourself, ask on the game forum.

I just tried it right now, on Gothic 3, i went to properties and selected another language (Changed from english to german) and it wouldnt download the german data needed. Restarting steam, or even put my interface-language on steam into german and reinstall the game wont help.

It looks like a steam-based problem to me.

Please read what you quoted. I said "game options menus" and you replied with "properties", meaning the game's properties in Steam. Well, that, and there's still the matter with different games using different language selection methods.
