Screenshots from non-steam games
I seem to be having trouble uploading some screenshots from non-steam games. There doesn't seem to be any options. Do I have to upload as an artwork??

Where have you looked for those options? In the screenshots up loader?

Yes. Can't see anything that relates to non-steam. I have managed to upload one as an artwork, but that's not really the same.

steam only accepts steam screenshots. though you can get around it by making dummy screenshots and renaming you own files the names of them and putting them in the screenshot folder. kinda tricky but you can look up tutorials.

You can add something as a non-Steam game, by clicking on: "add a game", in the lower-left corner, and then make a screenshot from that game, and then go to that folder by clicking on: "show on disk", in your Screenshot Uploader.

If needed, and once you have found your screenshot there, and before you upload the image, you can replace that image with another image, by giving that new image the same name, size, format, etcetera, and then copy and replace whatever new image to the same folder that contains the original image.

Artwork is fine make them public.
Have to do the same with Ansel screenshots from Nvidia.
They are Ansel in my profile. Artwok,
share a link just like in Steam screenshots once uploaded.

Only games that are added as a non-Steam game that further support the Steam overlay can produce screenshots taken with F12 that can be uploaded e.g

I do believe there are ways to upload custom screenshots but it's best to hunt down a guide from Google for that.
