Probably because of this "Steam is learning about this game"

IE, not a Steam issue.

You shouldn't care about completionist runs when S.A.M. exists and can instantly give people all achievements.

I don't care about achievements personally, but just because people can cheat doesn't mean an individual can't get personal satisfaction out of doing it properly.

I still don't see how your personal issue with achievement hunting is relevant. The question asked was why isn't it showing, the answer is because it's currently limited. That's all that needed to be said even if there is an argument that suggesting the games own forum is a more relevant place to ask the question.
