In-Game Toast Issues.

Hello,

I'm making a post after searching up related forums with similar issues but most of them were from older threads. Recently, for about a month and a half, my direct message and achievement toasts no longer appear in-game. Any messages from friends or achievement notifications would only appear after exiting the game. Not only that, but status updates of friends (them being in-game or online) would also be delayed or inaccurate. For example: a notification would state that a friend is online, but this was their status from, say, a few hours ago, and now they're offline.

I'm not sure whether this is a problem on my end alone or other folks with the Steam client are having similar issues. It's not anything serious, but it's an annoyance because I occasionally miss messages from friends who happened to send something while I'm in-game. I've attempted to enable/disable the in-game overlay and check for updates to the client, but I'm still having these issues. I'd appreciate any help, if possible.

No, actually toggled it on and the toasts seem to work now. Thank you, that helped.
