Lost all my Screenshots - Baldur's Gate 3

Hi!

So I played through BG3, and took around 400 screenshots. Went to upload about 150 of my latest, and they're all gone.

I tried data recovery through winfr, and nothing comes up. Steam does seems to recognize there used to be files there. I can guarantee I have not manually deleted them, nor have softwares running, doing cleanups, nothing.

Anyone have a clue what might have happened and if there is any way to recover them?

I have not reinstalled Steam, re-imaged or anything of the sort, my gaming PC is a glorified gaming console used solely for the purpose of gaming.

Look in your game files.There are always screenshots stored within them in a file there.It will take some digging but you will find them.

I have a done a thorough search of *.jpg in c:\program files (x86)\steam and all I have are my thumbnails for my screenshots that are gone, along with my game library thumbnails and posters :(

Anyone got a clue? Has that happened to anyone before?
