Can't edit steam profile

Everything was fine this morning, and in the evening I sit down at the PC, go to the profile and see that all the design and all the icons have disappeared, I click to edit the profile and it goes to a gray screen. Does anyone know what this is? Ban or some steam bug?

It has just happened to me too. I would like to understand why this is happening. I have contacted Steam Support in the meantime.

All my Steam shocases, and even Steam background are not accessible/visible at the moment.

Something's wrong with steam itself. Am also affected by this. It's randomly working for a short time now and then just to break again. Not everyone seems to be affected by this tho.
Did send a support request regarding this around 8 hours ago, no reply yet.

The same problem happened to me, both on the Steam app and on the client, the profile was completely bugged.

So they still let me access the Community Market, but they stop me from customising my Steam profile?!

Well just got a reply from Support regarding the ticket i sent in:


"Hello,

Thank you for taking the time to report this. Unfortunately, that some community features are experiencing intermittent issues at this time.

It can sometimes take up to a few days for issues like these to resolve or until after Weekly Maintenance on Tuesdays (PST). In the meantime, we recommend periodically retesting the issue.

I'm sorry for any inconvenience this may cause."

It's intermittent indeed. It was back to normal for 5 minutes, and now it's all blank again! 🤦

Steam Support is trying to claim that there's no longer a problem, but the issue still persists intermittently, at different intervals on mobile and desktop apps!

See their weird response. I won't stop contacting them! 🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦

I am sorry to hear what have happened and it seemed like there was error.

Then I proceeded reset from our end and now it seems like issue solved as https://steamcommunity.com/id/barmydeer/ now correctly displayed.

Let us know if the issue persists.
